Salt is hiring a National Sales Manager based in Auckland.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive new business acquisition across the heavy machinery & MHE market
  • Lead, mentor & motivate a great team to consistently hit their sales targets
  • Be on the road 90% of the time-meeting customers, identifying opportunities, and building long‑term partnerships
  • Create and execute national sales strategies across retail customer segments
  • Build brand presence in key markets through proactive, hunter‑style engagement
  • Work closely with senior leadership, including the GM, to drive transformational growth

Requirements

  • Heavy machinery / forklifts / MHE experience is preference, or supply chain / logistics background
  • A proven hunter mindset with results to match
  • Strong leadership & coaching capability
  • Highly accountable, transparent, results-driven and disciplined
  • Outstanding relationship builder with the confidence to knock on new doors
