Are you a visionary leader with a passion for health and wellness? We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead and drive the comprehensive sales strategy for our nutraceutical portfolio. This is a pivotal role where you will manage and expand our business across General Trade, Modern Trade, E-commerce, and Retail channels, ensuring our products reach consumers effectively and efficiently.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business growth and revenue targets
  • Lead and manage multi-channel sales operations, including General Trade (distributors, stockists, standalone stores), Modern Trade (key accounts, large format stores), and E-commerce platforms (marketplaces and D2C)
  • Oversee the sales team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and driving high-level performance across regions
  • Strengthen our distribution network and ensure deep market penetration across all geographies
  • Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners
  • Drive category growth for Pocari Sweat through effective product positioning and flawless execution
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and BTL teams to align sales strategies with company objectives, supporting product launches, promotions, and brand-building initiatives
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and profit/loss accountability
  • Ensure effective execution of trade schemes, visibility, and in-store activations
  • Analyze sales metrics to evaluate performance and provide regular reports/updates to senior management
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, culture, and industry regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 15+ years of experience in sales, with a strong background in nutraceuticals, FMCG, or the health & wellness industry
  • Proven experience in handling health drinks, hydration beverages, or similar product categories
  • Deep exposure and expertise in General Trade, Modern Trade, and E-commerce channels
  • Demonstrated success in leading large, multi-regional sales teams
  • Extensive understanding of distribution management and retail expansion strategies
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • A data-driven mindset with the analytical capabilities to solve complex problems and drive execution excellence
