Job Description:

Join our Hire business as our National Sales Account Manager. We’ve got huge ambitions for this year and beyond, and we’re looking for a National Sales Account Manager to join our National sales team within our Hire business, to help us achieve our goals. Please note that overnight stays may sometimes be required depending on location. While you are learning the role, you’ll be supported by and work alongside experienced colleagues.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage the partnership with a defined number of high profile Key Accounts
  • Agree and achieve jointly agreed strategic plans and objectives
  • Deliver the sales and profit budget for those accounts
  • Manage a number of National customers on assigned ledger, building business relationships, gain enquiries and convert to orders
  • Work with Credit Services to ensure customer payments are made on time and in full
  • Manage the Sales & profitability of each customer account in line with company expectations
  • Ensuring all customer deals in place are maximised to their sales potential
  • Ensure good customer contact is maintained on a regular call cycle
  • Utilise the “Quote Hub” to chase all customer quotes

Requirements:

  • An attitude to succeed and a continuous improvement outlook
  • Industry knowledge of building products would be advantageous, but not essential, as training will be provided
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships over the phone and specifically video calls
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals
  • Good working knowledge of company IT systems

Nice to have:

Experience of dealing with national housebuilders and main contractors
