Job Description

We’re looking for a National Roaming Paint Sprayer to join our team, and play a key role in maintaining strong operational performance across our 13 Activate Accident Repair sites. Painting and prepping of Motor vehicles. You will be required to travel nationally and provide 1 full week of cover at any specific Activate Accident Repair bodyshop.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure customer satisfaction in the repair and painting of motor vehicles of all types
  • Carry out such work in a safe and economical manner
  • Observe, recognise and report on vehicle structure and paintwork
  • Accurately use paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment
  • Ensure that vehicles comply with safety standards
  • Attain manufacturers' and/or estimated repair/paint times
  • Report all faults, defects noticed whilst working on vehicles
  • Take care of equipment, special tools and personal tools

Requirements

  • ATA / NVQ level 3 in paint spraying
  • PPG paint scheme experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Good decision making / problem solving skills
  • Good health and safety awareness
  • Relevant industry experience and time served as a repair technician
