Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced and driven IBA National Retail Project Specialist to join our team in a full‑time, permanent capacity. While the role is based at our Truganina site, we’re also open to candidates located in other states. In this role, you will support the National Retail Operations Excellence Lead to deliver shopper‑focused retail strategies that enhance the “best store in town” experience. You’ll play a key part in driving executional excellence across the network, ensuring initiatives are rolled out effectively and deliver meaningful, mutually beneficial outcomes for our members.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ownership & Creation of Retail Development Tool Kit
  • Responsible for cross functional working relationships with Metcash Pillars to deliver efficiencies and cost savings
  • Support National Retail Excellence Lead in the rollout of strategic projects and initiatives
  • Engage and partner with relevant suppliers, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective implementations
  • Assist with improving the IBA Network by developing and maintaining consistently high operational standards
  • Ownership of Operations Manuals, BDM tool Kit, Member communication
  • Coordinate and maintain the retail instore Brand Guidelines documents
  • Provide input into the Management & evolution for the ALM Training Academy

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated retail industry experience, preferably in FMCG
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships with internal & external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously to deliver quality and on time
  • Experience with process improvement and change initiatives
  • Process / project management experience essential

Nice to have:

  • Liquor experience is desirable
  • Category Management experience preferred
  • Presentation skills are desirable
