A CommonSpirit Health Nurse Resident is a new graduate direct clinical care registered nurse (RN) who continues to develop nursing knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors introduced in formal education as they transition into practice. They are expected to demonstrate the appropriate competency in both core and functional areas. This role provides an opportunity to develop foundational skills and contribute to exceptional patient care within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing
Active License as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State in which s/he will be practicing or the state of primary residency if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state
BLS certification - American Heart Association
Additional certifications may be required based on population(s) served and services provided
This location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire
