Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure all fulfilment team members consistently deliver the 7 steps of Customer Fulfilment
  • Your site consistently achieves a high Trust Pilot for both FV team members and contractors
  • When making decisions, you actively support the business in achieving an overall customer experience that delivers on our objective of putting the customer first
  • Ensure all customer service interactions and communication by your fulfilment team are polite and courteous
  • Maintain full compliance of the Home Delivery Fleet in line with all vehicle operator licensing legislation and regulations, which includes accurate vehicle records (up to 2 years), servicing in line with regulations, drivers’ hours, working time and daily vehicle checks
  • Products received are checked against the ADL, checked for existing damage, and rejected where required
  • Ensure all products are stored and handled safely and with extreme care to minimise damage and financial loss
  • Ensure warehouse space is effectively utilised to store stock correctly
  • Fully utilise and comply with all people management practices and procedures, such as recruitment, probation sign off, people development, succession planning, appraisals, and absence management
  • Ensure your team receive the coaching, guidance and development required in order to ensure success in their role
  • Work with your fulfilment leadership team to ensure they are effectively managing the performance of their team through coaching, training, networking, performance appraisals and sharing of best practice
  • Ensure the fulfilment leadership team effectively supports you in the day-to-day running of the business and of the team, including leading the team in your absence
  • In conjunction with the leadership team and the Head of National Fulfilment, constantly review distribution operating costs and ensure expenditure is within budget, i.e., overtime, agency labour, van usage, vehicle hire, etc
  • Minimise the use of weekend hire by maximising on own fleet and delivery crews effectively
  • Following health & safety procedures at all times
  • Making a difference every day to the customer experience
