Master’s Degree (University-level) in Media, Communications, Human Rights, Social Sciences, Education, Public Policy, or other relevant fields
A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in programme or project coordination, preferably within an international organization or UN system
Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives, including engagement with government counterparts, international partners, and civil society organizations
Experience in human rights, freedom of expression, peace education, or related fields, with an understanding of issues relevant to historical memory, reconciliation, or Global Citizenship Education (GCED)
Proven ability to design and support capacity-building programmes, including training, technical assistance, and stakeholder outreach
Strong analytical and writing skills, with demonstrated ability to produce quality reports, briefs, and communications materials
Fluency in English and Khmer, both written and spoken, is required

Job Responsibility

Serve as focal point for IPHGE and supervise national consultants, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of all outputs in line with UNESCO standards and donor requirements
Coordinate with relevant Ministries, national stakeholders, international partners, and UNESCO HQ to ensure coherent and effective implementation of IPHGE activities
Monitor project progress, review and validate deliverables, identify risks, and ensure proper documentation, reporting, and visibility of results
Support programme management processes, including procurement, drafting of Terms of Reference, contract management, and compliance with UNESCO administrative and financial procedures
Provide technical inputs and quality assurance to outputs related to genocide education, Global Citizenship Education (GCED), and broader CI thematic areas, including drafting of briefs and knowledge products
Coordinate activities on peace education and youth engagement
Facilitate communication and coordination between consultants, experts, and national counterparts, and contribute to donor reporting and internal documentation
Contribute to the design and implementation of CI Programme activities in Cambodia, including organizing meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement
Support communication and outreach efforts, including preparation of visibility materials and press-related activities
Carry out other tasks as required by the UNESCO Representative and project team
