We are seeking two experienced Business Development Managers to join a leading National Agriculture Insurer. These roles are focused on new business and require a proven 4-5 year track record within the General Insurance sector. We are looking for individuals who prefer the "hunt", specialists who enjoy identifying commercial opportunities and have the credibility to engage with the Australian Agriculture Community. Mandatory Requirement: This is a specialist GI sales position. We are strictly seeking professionals from a General Insurance background. Applicants from Life Insurance or sectors outside of insurance will not be considered.
Job Responsibility:
Market Penetration: Identify, pursue, and secure untapped opportunities across the national agriculture landscape. This is a proactive sales role focused on commercial growth
Technical Solutions: Translate complex insurance products into practical, high-value risk solutions for large-scale commercial farming operations
Market Intelligence: Provide direct feedback from the field to influence product design and competitive positioning
Requirements:
4-5 year experience in general insurance or banking & finance sector specifically in Rural/Agri space
