National Account Manager role at Safetykleen, a company providing parts cleaning, waste collection and environmental advisory services. The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of high-value, multi-site National Key Accounts, driving growth, improving customer productivity and supporting sustainability goals. This is a national field-based role with travel aligned to customer needs.
Job Responsibility:
Owning multi-site strategic accounts - managing high-value, multi-location customers so their needs are anticipated, service is consistent across sites, retention is strong and partnerships are long term
Growing revenue and value - building and executing account strategies that grow profitable revenue, drive upsell and cross-sell, and position Safetykleen as the partner of choice
Building senior stakeholder relationships - developing trusted relationships with director-level and senior decision-makers, presenting tailored, value-led solutions and securing long-term contracts and extensions
Leading tenders, frameworks and the sales cycle - partnering with internal teams to shape commercially sound framework agreements and taking full ownership of the sales process for your accounts
Owning results - consistently aiming to meet and exceed sales targets, using account performance data and insight to refine your approach and unlock new growth opportunities
Requirements:
Field-based B2B account manager experience
Experience managing high-value, multi-site National Key Accounts
Experience with tenders or framework agreements (strong advantage)
Proactive, structured approach
Resilience and calm under pressure
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel, including some mid-week overnight stays
