Job Description

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic mid-market accounts within Vodafone Ireland. This role focuses on building a robust sales pipeline, understanding customer business objectives, and delivering tailored digital connectivity and communications solutions. Based in Dublin and reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, this position plays a key role in supporting the SME Champion Strategy through proactive account development, consultative selling, and long-term customer partnership.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and deliver an account plan aligned to the Protect & Nurture pillar of the SME Champion Strategy within Vodafone Ireland
  • Systematically landscape assigned accounts to understand business goals, decision-makers, and growth opportunities
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline of at least 3x annual sales quota
  • Identify and progress opportunities across Mobility, Fixed, Mobile Broadband, Unified Communications and Security
  • Engage customer buying centres through outbound calling, social selling, and marketing-led campaigns
  • Act as a trusted advisor, influencing long-term customer strategy and solution design
  • Develop and manage contract strategies to maximise reach and value across the account base
  • Coordinate proposal and contract requirements, including pricing, credit terms, and procurement processes
  • Collaborate closely with Solutions Sales, Marketing, and in-country service teams to deliver customer outcomes
  • Support marketing initiatives, events, and growth-focused campaigns
  • Respond to tenders by coordinating internal stakeholders and developing strong procurement relationships
  • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and performance reporting to the line manager
  • Manage ongoing customer relationships to enable retention and cross-sell opportunities

Requirements

  • 4+ years in a comparable B2B sales role
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a consultative approach
  • Skilled in managing complex customer relationships and engaging stakeholders up to C-suite level
  • Commercially aware, with strong understanding of sales cycles, contracts, and project dynamics
  • An effective communicator with excellent presentation and influencing skills
  • Organised, analytical, and comfortable making sound decisions under pressure
  • Motivated, resourceful, and proactive in identifying and developing new opportunities
  • Committed to delivering high-quality customer experiences and resolving service issues constructively
