Job Description:

Hormel Foods in the UK is looking for a dynamic, results-driven National Account Manager to join our branded team (Hormel Foods Brand Portfolio). You will play a pivotal role in executing our commercial strategy, driving sales, and expanding market share. This is a hybrid role based in Leamington Spa (3 days per week in the office), where you will play a key role in driving brand growth across major UK retailers and channels.

Job Responsibility:

Manage & Grow Accounts: Maintain and develop strong relationships with key retail partners while identifying new growth opportunities
Account Management: Address day-to-day account issues proactively, ensuring a customer-first approach
Trade Marketing & Promotions: Implement trade marketing initiatives (in-store & online), oversee trade investments, and conduct promotional post-evaluation for ROI optimisation
Category Management: Leverage insights to support category growth and strategic decision-making
Commercial Strategy & Budgeting: Deliver plans in line with budget, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability

Requirements:

Graduate-level qualification
2-3+ years’ experience in FMCG sales OR in a buying/category role at a grocery retailer
Strong analytical & numerical skills
Excellent multitasking, project management & prioritisation skills
Energetic and able to represent the brand positively internally & externally
Proactive & adaptable, with a team-player mindset and a passion for food
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Nice to have:

Experience in Branded or Own Label FMCG with a strong National Account Management background
Candidates with a Buyer/Retail background
Professionals at a more junior level looking for a step up
