As a National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role within a high-performing sales team, managing a portfolio of wholesale and distributor customers whilst driving sustainable growth across a range of household-name brands. Job Responsibility
Manage a portfolio of wholesale and distributor accounts, delivering profitable and sustainable growth across multiple product categories
Develop and execute Joint Business Plans, identifying opportunities to increase distribution, sales performance, and customer engagement
Build strong relationships with key external customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring collaborative delivery of commercial objectives
Lead forecasting, promotional planning, and customer performance analysis to maximise opportunities and mitigate risks
Work cross-functionally with category, shopper marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to deliver best-in-class customer plans
Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and support wider business growth initiatives
Take ownership of customer performance, P&L delivery, and strategic account development
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience within an FMCG sales or account management environment
Experience managing customer relationships and delivering commercial objectives
Must have managed a P&L
Strong understanding of forecasting and budgeting
Commercially astute with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Confident communicator with the ability to influence both internally and externally
Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to continuously develop and progress
Nice to have
Experience within wholesale, convenience, or distributor channels would be advantageous
