An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing frozen food businesses as National Account Controller. Part of a leading European food group, the UK division specialises in producing high-quality private label, value-added vegetarian and meat-based frozen and chilled finger foods and party snacks. The business has a strong reputation, multiple awards, and a significant presence across major grocery retailers & foodservice channels.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take full ownership of the foodservice strategy and growth agenda
  • Manage and expand a well-established foodservice customer base, covering national wholesalers, buying groups, and end-user customers
  • Lead the launch of a new foodservice brand into the market
  • Be responsible for selling products from both UK manufacturing sites and European production facilities
  • Play a key role in building a dedicated foodservice team
  • Oversee a Foodservice NAM
  • Focus on identifying new trading opportunities, securing new customers, and strengthening relationships within the sector

Requirements:

  • Currently operating in a foodservice focused commercial role, either as a NAM/SNAM in a larger business or Controller/Head of Foodservice in a smaller organisation
  • Experience in branded or private label food and a strong understanding of the NPD process
  • Skilled negotiator with a proven track record of winning and developing new business
