Requirements

Must have access to reliable transportation as the business is not on a bus route
Certification of Forklift Operation is considered an asset (will be 30 min assessment on site)
Valid Forklift Certification is not required but a previous Certification is required
Prior experience in shipping, receiving, order picking
Experience with an RF Scanner gun is an asset
The ability to adhere to all safety regulations
Physically capable to lift 50lbs repetitively
Moderate computer skills, and the ability to accurately record information
Team player with a positive attitude
Must have CSA approved steel-toed safety shoes

Job Responsibility

Packing orders onto skids or into bundles with the help of team members and packing equipment
Utilization of a narrow reach truck forklift 20% of the time
Able to lift 10lbs - 30lbs often and occasionally up to 50lbs.
Shipping, receiving, cleaning and other assigned duties

Perform inventory replenishment tasks by safely pulling products from upper racking levels and moving them to lower picking bins
Conduct pre-operational safety inspections on the material handling equipment daily and report any maintenance issues immediately
Use RF scanners or warehouse management system paperwork to accurately track product movements and maintain inventory integrity
Assist with general warehouse duties including palletizing, wrapping skids, and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment
Follow all established health and safety protocols, especially regarding working at heights and operating heavy machinery
