Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Narrative Writer/Designer to join a creative team dedicated to delivering immersive storytelling experiences in video games. This role involves crafting compelling narratives, developing engaging dialogue, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to bring rich worlds to life. The ideal candidate excels at writing for interactive media, thrives in collaborative environments, and has a passion for Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement narrative concepts, storylines, and character arcs for RPGs and other game genres
  • Write dialogue, in-game text, and branching narrative structures that enhance player engagement
  • Collaborate closely with VO and audio teams to ensure seamless integration of voice-over content
  • Work with designers and developers to align narrative elements with gameplay mechanics
  • Utilize industry-standard writing tools to manage scripts and dialogue systems
  • Revise and polish narrative content based on feedback from internal teams and playtesting

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in narrative writing for video games
  • Proven experience writing for Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres
  • Strong background in RPG storytelling and mechanics
  • Experience writing for AA or AAA video game titles
  • Expertise in crafting dialogue, character lines, and branching narratives
  • Hands-on experience collaborating with VO and audio teams
  • Proficiency with narrative design and writing tools
