A warm and family-oriented household is seeking a kind, hardworking, and reliable nanny to support the daily care and development of their two young boys aged 23mths and 3yrs old. This is a long-term role, with the opportunity to evolve as the children grow. The family values happiness, sibling bonding, and strong relationships with grandparents, and they are looking for a nanny who can integrate seamlessly into their dynamic. The nanny will play a key role in helping the parents manage daily routines, engaging in active play and learning. driving the children to activities, preparing meals and some house management . The role is primarily focused on the youngest child (who has several weekly activities), while the oldest attends daycare nearby.
Job Responsibility:
Morning routine: Help the children get ready, including sunscreen, teeth brushing, and dressing
Activity drop-offs & pickups: Drive to swimming, music, soccer, and play classes
Occasional daycare pickups for the oldest (short 2-minute drive)
Supervise swimming lessons
Prepare and serve dinner for the children each evening (not for parents)
Afternoon outdoor play in the garden or park
Assist with bath time and winding down for the evening
Light household tasks (kitchen tidy/unpacking dishwasher, laundry, small errands like milk/bread, tidying up after activities)
Occasional trips to the shops to get new clothes / shoes for the boys and for haircuts or to a doctors appointment
Requirements:
2+ years experience caring for children of a similar age
Childcare qualifications are preferred but not essential
Driver’s license required (must have own car)
Working With Children Check required
First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Comfortable in water (to assist during swimming lessons if needed)
Nice to have:
Happy, hardworking, and reliable
Experienced with young children (formal nanny experience is a plus but not essential)
Comfortable working in a home where grandparents are actively involved
