Job Description:

A warm and active family on the Northern Beaches , Sydney is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and development focused nanny to care for their 1 year old son. This is a wonderful long term opportunity for a nanny who is passionate about early childhood development, enjoys being part of a family’s rhythm, and brings energy, creativity, and patience to their work each day.

Job Responsibility:

Provide nurturing, attentive care with a strong developmental focus
Plan and participate in engaging daily activities: Walks, outdoor play, baby sensory, music, reading
Swimming lessons, Gymbaroo, Rhyme Time
Support age appropriate milestones (feeding skills, early toilet training, motor skills development)
Prepare and serve healthy, nutritious meals and snacks
Maintain the child’s environment, tidy play areas, children’s laundry as required
Drive to activities and outings using the family car
Collaborate with parents regarding routine, meals, and developmental goals

Requirements:

2+ years experience working as a nanny or in childcare
Certificate III or above in Early Childhood Education or equivalent highly regarded
Experience working with infants/toddlers
Valid Working with Children’s Check
Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
Confident swimmer and comfortable with active outdoor play
Non-smoker
Confident driver with a valid Australian full drivers licence (essential) – Family car provided for all driving
