Job Description:

A loving family in St Peters, Sydney, is seeking a highly experienced, professional, and caring nanny to support their 2 children (2 yr old girl and 6 yr old boy). The family has a friendly 8kg Boston Terrier (14 years old) who mostly sleeps in the sun. The mother works from home but respects the nanny’s autonomy in managing the children’s routine. The family values kindness, independence, and creating a nurturing environment for their children.

Job Responsibility:

  • Engaging Activities – Planning and leading fun, educational activities that spark creativity and learning
  • Taking the children on fun outdoor adventures or pre-planned activities (family covers all costs)
  • Naptime – Assisting with 2-year-old’s nap (typically 12:30-2:30 PM) while following the family’s routine
  • Meal Prep & Organisation – Preparing and organising healthy snacks and lunch for the 2-year-old
  • School Pick-Up – Picking up the older child from school at 3:10, 20 minute walk or 3 minute drive (driving preferred but not essential, a car is provided)
  • Light Child-Related Housework – Helping with tidying play areas, changing bed sheets, and folding kids’ laundry to keep things organised and comfortable

Requirements:

  • 3+ years working as a nanny or in child care
  • Early Childhood qualification preferred
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Working With Children’s Check
  • Basic cooking skills – able to assist with simple snacks, baking, and meal prep for the children
  • Non-smoking
  • Full Drivers Licence – No need for own car

  • Up-to-date with COVID-19 and flu vaccinations
