Job Description:

A loving family in Moorooka, QLD are seeking a warm, caring, and reliable nanny to help care for their daughter, aged 10 months. With no close family nearby, the family are looking for someone who can become a trusted, supportive presence in their lives—a professional carer who will genuinely enjoy building a bond with their baby girl and supporting their little family. This is a consistent, part-time position ideal for an experienced nanny who enjoys caring for babies and supporting a young family.

Job Responsibility:

Collecting in and folding laundry
Putting dishes away
Preparing simple, healthy family meals
Caring for child after she arrives home: feeding, playing, and bathing
Light errands (e.g., grabbing essentials from Woolworths, chemist, or post office if needed – all within 5 minutes)
Walking the dog (desirable, not essential)

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
Childcare qualifications preferred
Young baby experience
Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
Have a current Blue Card
Display strong communication skills and speak English
Non smoking
Full drivers license and own car (For reliability and punctuality)
Comfortable with pets (dog)

Nice to have:

Warm, positive, easy-going, and empathetic
Experienced with young children, especially babies
Trustworthy and reliable, with strong communication skills
Someone who enjoys forming lasting connections with the families you support
Comfortable with pets and happy to help with light household tasks
Walking the dog (desirable, not essential)
