Littleton Family Seeking Nanny For Their Toddler And Newborn! Care will be for two children ages 2 years old and 10 weeks old. The family's oldest is high energy, loves to get out of the house, enthusiastic, and is learning how to handle big feelings as an older sibling. She loves to color and pretend to play. She is currently on waitlist for preschool. The family's youngest is a happy and healthy newborn and was born in November. She exclusively breast-feeds, but mom has started to introduce bottles. Ideally, the nanny will help establish a schedule. Mom will return to work in February. She WFH on East Coast time. Dad works full-time outside of the home.
Job Responsibility:
All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare, child meal prep, child, laundry, light tidying, picking up toys, going on local outings, and maintaining the home
No errands are needed
No travel is required for this position
Requirements:
Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu
Nice to have:
2+ years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers
Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time who are close in age
The ideal candidate is active, clean and organized
Mom and Dad are very intentional, proactive, and love initiative, so a candidate with those qualities will thrive in this position
