Job Description:

Boulder Family Seeking Nanny 30 Hours A Week! Care will mainly be for one child who is 2 years old. Mom is expecting a new baby in April. This is a short-term role for 3 or 6+ months.

Job Responsibility:

  • All standard nanny duties, including cooking for their daughter, children's laundry, general tidying up, emptying the diaper pail, washing bottles, and unloading and loading the dishwasher.
  • They would also love some light meal prep (washing and chopping) during nap time.
  • The nanny’s primary focus will be on the family’s energetic and bright 2-year-old.
  • Support their toddler through the transition of becoming a big sister while still receiving plenty of one-on-one attention.
  • Keep her busy, supported, and positively engaged throughout the day.

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations, including the current flu shot, TDaP, and COVID-19 booster.
  • 2 years of toddler experience.
  • 1+ year of in-home nanny experince.
  • Previous experience working around a stay-at-home mom
  • Must follow a no screen time rule.
  • Must be active and willing to go outside and play in the snow.

Nice to have:

  • A Second language in Spanish would be nice, however, not required.
  • A background in early childhood development would be strongly desired but not required.
  • The ideal candidate will enjoy planning activities, be active and engaging, and have a positive attitude.
