A busy, loving family in Annandale is looking for a mature, warm and experienced nanny to help care for their two energetic boys (5 and 2 years old). They’re hoping to find someone who brings calm, fun, and genuine affection to their home — someone who feels like part of the family and enjoys the lively buzz of young children. You’ll be caring for the boys through their daily routines, supporting school runs, planning fun activities, and helping keep the household running smoothly. This role suits a nanny who is confident, organised, creative with play ideas, and comfortable managing a full and active day. Days & Hours: Wednesday: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm; Thursday: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm; Friday: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm.
Job Responsibility:
Morning routine: helping the boys finish breakfast, get dressed, and ready for the day
Walking the eldest child to/from school (local, easy walk)
Driving the youngest to activities such as swimming, gymnastics and outings
Planning engaging activities, crafts and games
Taking the boys to the park and other fun outings
Supporting basic early learning such as reading, writing and simple maths
Preparing simple, healthy kids’ meals confidently and independently
Occasional simple meal prep for parents once a week
Managing the youngest child's daytime nap and using nap time for light household tasks
Afternoon school pick-up and after-school play
Preparing dinner and baths so the boys are fed and settled by 6 pm
Light housework: unpacking dishwasher, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, laundry, folding, tidying toys, taking out bins
Occasional errands (groceries, post office, dry cleaning etc.)
Requirements:
5+ years nannying/childcare/household experience
Valid Working with Children's Check
Current First Aid and CPR
Confident, experienced driver with own car and full drivers licence – Kms and petrol to be reimbursed
Comfortable supporting a child in the swimming pool during lessons
Confident cook for children
Strong initiative, great time management, and a calm, positive presence
Mature outlook (ideally 25+), open to older/more experienced nannies
Non-smoker
