Job Description

Part-time nanny position for a family in Boulder, caring for two children ages 2.5 years and 10 months. The family has three large dogs. Schedule is ideally Tuesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with guaranteed 21 hours per week for 6 months to start. This is a short-term position for 6+ months.

Job Responsibility

All standard nanny duties including child meal prep, child laundry, staying on schedule, light tidying, rotating toys and books, and going on outings in their very walkable area

Requirements

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations
2+ years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers

Nice to have

Someone who likes plants and is knowledgable with gardens would be great
The ideal candidate is casual, has structure but can follow a natural rhythm, and enjoys being outside
They will really value a nanny who is happy to take the kids on outings in the stroller
happy to pet and house sit while the family is traveling
