Job Description:

Seeking a reliable, patient, kind and engaging nanny for a long-term position (1+ year) for a family with one 18-month-old toddler. The toddler loves to walk to the park, play house, and learn. Both parents work from home. Schedule is Monday through Friday 7:50 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. with some flexibility for an occasional weekend or date night, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Live-out position.

Job Responsibility:

  • All standard nanny duties including child laundry, meal prep, and light tidying
  • Care for one 18 month old
  • Once trust is established, the family will be open to outings around the town, but would like the nanny to stay within the neighborhood to start
  • Be mindful that the child has an egg allergy

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)

Nice to have:

  • Prior knowledge of child development would be preferred, or someone willing to continue to learn more
  • Someone who is tidy and cleans as the day goes on would fit in great with this family
