Job Description:

A warm and bubbly family based in Kew is seeking an experienced, reliable and self-driven nanny to become a long-term part of their household. With demanding medical careers and non-standard hours, the family is looking for someone they can deeply trust to care for their children (Aged 8 yrs and 4yrs) and help manage the home with confidence and initiative.

Job Responsibility:

  • School/pre-school drop-offs and pick-ups
  • Transporting children to activities
  • Maintaining consistent routines
  • Reading support (homework support as needed in future)
  • Caring for the youngest child on non–pre-school days and when unwell
  • Light household duties including laundry and ironing
  • Changing children’s bed sheets weekly (or when required)
  • Simple meal preparation
  • Grocery shopping and occasional errands
  • General tidying to help keep the home running smoothly

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience as a nanny and proven experience in long term nanny roles
  • Childcare qualifications preferred
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (or willingness to refresh)
  • Valid Working With Children’s Check
  • Confident swimmer (ideal, particularly for water outings)
  • Full Drivers licence and own vehicle
