We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nail Assistant to join our team and support our Nail Technicians in providing top-notch nail services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced salon environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparation Assistance: Assist Nail Technicians in preparing for client appointments by setting up workstations, organising tools, and ensuring a clean and sanitised environment
  • Client Support: Greet and welcome clients. escort them to designated areas, and provide excellent customer service. Check in/out clients and rebooking appointments. Assist in explaining and promoting additional salon services and products
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish nail supplies, polishes, and tools as needed. Keep track of inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the salon manager
  • Sanitisation and Cleanliness: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the salon. Sterilise tools and equipment regularly to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment
  • Technical Support: Assist Nail Technicians during nail service procedures, including but not limited to filing, shaping, and polish application. Learn and apply basic nail care techniques under the guidance of experienced professionals
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the entire salon team to ensure a seamless and positive client experience. Provide support to other team members as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a salon or beauty-related environment is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of nail care and beauty techniques
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced Nail Technicians
