Job Responsibility:

  • Create and release production orders in alignment with central planning
  • Maintain detailed scheduling for an 8-week horizon, ensuring material and capacity availability
  • Update work orders (WO) for the next 8 weeks in the system and coordinate with Logistics (PM/EPC) and Materials Management (MM) for any required changes
  • Validate sales orders and central planning requirements to ensure demand accuracy in the system
  • Generate shortage reports and review with MM team to enable smooth production planning
  • Provide capacity files to central planning for demand loading
  • Align monthly with central planning to share inputs for the 6-month frozen period based on resource planning
  • Collaborate with Change Management team to handle project changes before pickup
  • Participate in Cross-Functional Team (CFT) discussions on pickup-related topics and impacts
  • Utilize SAP PP for BOM, Routing, and Capacity Planning
  • Generate picklists for the warehouse team to facilitate material movement to the shop floor
  • Weekly alignment of Plan vs. Actual with global teams
  • Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities
  • Monitor production status against the master schedule and ensure timely delivery as per shipping plan
  • Prepare MIS reports and present to management
  • Evaluate current production planning processes and recommend improvements
  • Assist in planning and execution for new projects

Requirements:

  • BE / B Tech with Experience in Industrial Setup
  • 7 + years in Production planning & Control with medium to large scale Mfg Industry having various products mix
  • Advanced level of knowledge in MS Office & Experience in SAP PP & MM modules
  • Organisation and planning capability, with personnel capabilities to coordinate with working team from local & Global
  • Strong anlytical skills & Dash Board creation
  • Experience in MRP, Production planning and control
  • Good in problem solving skills & data analysis
