Job Description:

Senior subject matter expert responsible for leading the design, build, and delivery of complex, large-scale patient engagement solutions within Epic MyChart. This role owns initiatives end-to-end, enhances the digital patient experience, and aligns solutions with Epic Foundation principles and business objectives, while mentoring team members.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead design and configuration of advanced MyChart features (scheduling, PROs, third-party integrations)
  • Manage full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time and within scope
  • Translate business needs into technical design
  • serve as key stakeholder contact
  • Facilitate design sessions and present to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Develop and oversee testing strategies for enhancements
  • Ensure adherence to Epic standards while delivering innovative solutions
  • Drive development of high-impact, patient-facing features
  • Mentor and support team members

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of Epic MyChart experience with proven patient engagement impact
  • Expertise in complex patient-facing workflows
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills
  • Deep knowledge of HIPAA, privacy, and data security
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Epic MyChart Certification required

Nice to have:

  • Experience with MyChart APIs
  • Project management experience
  • Additional Epic certifications (Ambulatory, Cadence, Prelude)
  • Agile/Six Sigma
