This position is ideal for individuals who have a background in the investment industry—or education in financial markets—and who enjoy helping investors understand their accounts and the products they hold.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process a wide range of mutual fund transactions, including new account setups, purchases, redemptions, exchanges, and account maintenance—while meeting accuracy and productivity standards

  • Explain investment concepts to callers, including: What mutual funds are and why investors may choose them
  • How mutual fund performance is evaluated
  • Portfolio holdings and how they relate to a fund’s objectives
  • The differences among IRA types and how they function

  • Working knowledge of: Mutual funds and their purpose as an investment vehicle
  • IRA account types and how they differ
  • Mutual fund performance, portfolio holdings, and fund objectives
  • Ability to explain how a fund’s structure and strategy relate to the shareholder’s investment
  • Functional understanding of the roles of portfolio managers and investment advisors, and how to interact professionally with both
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
  • Solid math and computer skills
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
  • This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week following the fully onsite training period

  • Basic term and optional term life insurance
  • Short-term and long-term disability

  • 401(k) and employer-funded retirement plan
  • Paid vacation (from two to five weeks depending on salary grade and tenure)
  • Up to 11 paid holiday opportunities
