Job Description:

A large financial service firm is seeking a remote mutual fund accountant for a 3–4 month project. Responsibilities include preparing SEC compliance filings, financial reports, fund expenses, and assisting with prospectuses. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in accounting or finance and experience with mutual fund accounting and N-PORT.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare information as it relates to the SEC's N-PORT filing requirements
Prepare annual and semi-annual financial reports
Prepare fund expenses, including review and analysis
Prepare information for various SEC regulatory filings
Assist external departments in the creation of prospectuses
Perform quarterly IRS and SEC compliance testing
Complete various third party fund surveys and ad hoc requests
Complete other departmental duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Must have Mutual fund accounting and N-Port experience.
