Your Role As a Part-Time Music Teacher, you will be a key player in a collaborative department. You will deliver high-quality practical and theoretical lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, using the school's excellent resources to engage students in composition, performance, and appraisal. You will have the chance to contribute to a rich extracurricular calendar, from Rock Bands to Pop Choirs, helping students build the "Cultural Capital" they need to thrive.

Job Responsibility:

  • Dynamic Teaching: Deliver engaging music lessons that cover diverse genres and cultures
  • Curriculum Development: Assist in refining a spiral curriculum that builds mastery from Year 7 to Year 13
  • Performance Leadership: Support and lead extracurricular clubs and school-wide concerts
  • Inclusion: Adapt lessons to ensure all learners, including those with SEND, can achieve their musical potential

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
