TreeHouse School is an Ofsted “Outstanding” SEN School for children and young adults aged 3-19 with a primary diagnosis of autism (most of whom have additional learning, social, emotional, communication, health and care needs). Our Ambitious approach ensures that, through our curriculum and delivery, we focus on delivering quality of life outcomes for our children and young people.
Job Responsibility:
To deliver high quality teaching, learning and emotional regulation support to autistic children and young people using the principles of Ambitious Approach
Effectively plan, resource and teach Expressive Arts lessons (including dance and drama), with a particular focus on Music, to class groups, small groups and 1:1 intervention sessions, as directed by the Expressive Arts Lead
Provide excellent delivery, teaching and course leadership to learners across TreeHouse School
Safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people we support
Take responsibility for preparing all the resources required in advance of each session
Work with pupils to ensure they receive a service that delivers the outcomes specified in their individualised learning, person-centred plans
Work collaboratively with the Expressive Arts Lead to organise and coordinate arts trips, workshops, performances and celebration events as required
Requirements:
Passionate Music Teacher
With or without QTS
