Music Teacher

• Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach a range of topics including performance, composition, and music theory
• Inspire and engage students through practical and interactive learning
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Support extracurricular activities such as choirs, bands, or school performances
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Music at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A creative and engaging teaching style
• Commitment to supporting students of all abilities

Ability to teach a variety of instruments or vocal skills is desirable
