Are you a passionate musician with a talent for inspiring the next generation? We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Music Teacher to join our department for the upcoming summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in a vibrant school community and lead our students through a crucial period of their musical development. Immediate start! Starting immediately after the Easter break, you will take over a full timetable of music classes across the school. You will be responsible for fostering a love of music through practical and theoretical lessons, ensuring every student has the chance to find their rhythm.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high quality music lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Lead a GCSE music group
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a supportive and creative learning environment
  • Foster a love of music through practical and theoretical lessons

Requirements:

  • Proven experience teaching the GCSE Music curriculum
  • Comfortable with both performance and composition elements of the syllabus
  • QTS qualified
  • Ability to make music accessible and exciting for students of all ability levels
