Job Description:

A lovely two form entry primary school in Wandsworth are looking for a qualified Music Teacher one day a week to start ASAP. This role will ideally start ASAP and will continue for the academic year on a long-term basis.

Job Responsibility:

Teach Music throughout the school to children from Reception to Y5 for one day a week (Tuesday)

Requirements:

  • QTS preferred
  • Ability to plan and deliver lessons appropriate to different age ranges and abilities

  • Extracurricular Leadership: Coordinate and lead school choirs, bands, or orchestras, and organize seasonal concerts and showcase events to celebrate student talent
  • Inclusive Harmony: Differentiate lessons to support students of all musical backgrounds-from those picking up an instrument for the first time to advanced Grade 8 musicians
  • Instrumental Management: Work alongside peripatetic teachers to ensure a cohesive musical education for students receiving 1:1 tuition
