Job Responsibility:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Music lessons that cover a wide range of genres and technical skills
Create an inspiring and inclusive environment where students feel confident to perform and compose
Adapt teaching methods to support diverse learners, from budding soloists to those discovering music for the first time
Manage classroom instruments and digital music resources effectively to enhance learning
Foster strong relationships with students and staff to contribute to the school's cultural life
Organise and lead rehearsals or small-scale performances to showcase student progress
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant Music Teaching experience
Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Eligibility to work in the UK
Proven ability to play and teach at least one instrument (and/or vocals) to a high standard
Professional references covering your work history
