Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons based on Quality First Teaching principles
  • Teach Music across Early Years, Primary, and Secondary age ranges (3–16)
  • Plan and lead musical events, concerts, performances, and extracurricular clubs
  • Promote participation in musical activities and foster a love of music in every learner
  • Provide stretch, challenge, and support for mixed-attainment groups
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and whole-school performances
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with English as an additional language
  • Support the school’s strong pastoral ethos by contributing to the holistic development of every student
  • Embrace the use of digital tools, virtual reality, and emerging technologies to enhance learning

Requirements:

  • Be an inspiring, creative, and passionate Music educator with a commitment to the whole-child approach
  • Share Inspired Education’s belief in the equal value of academics, sport, and the arts
  • Have a proven track record of successfully teaching Music to students aged 3–16, with evidence of strong value-added outcomes
  • Have experience planning and delivering high-impact performances, choirs, ensembles, or enrichment activities

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for cross-curricular collaboration and innovative curriculum design
