Job Description:

As a Lecturer of the Department of Music, Media and Performing Arts at EKC group you will teach, train and assess students in a variety of learning environments, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. Your role will also include providing support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential and to lead as appropriate on designated study programmes and/or courses, with a key responsibility for ensuring the design, delivery and evaluation of programme.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support learners to develop practical, theoretical, and performance-based skills
  • Assess and track student progress
  • Plan meaningful interventions
  • Contribute to productions, showcases, and performances

Requirements:

  • Creative, organised practitioner
  • Passionate about inspiring learners through Music and Performing Arts
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons
  • Ability to build strong, positive relationships with students
  • Ability to teach across a range of disciplines with a strong focus on music theory, instrumental tuition, acting, singing, and drama and performance theory
  • Ability to assess and track student progress
  • Experience of integrated or cross-disciplinary teaching is ideal
  • A positive outlook
  • Empathy for students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Confident teaching programmes from Level 1 through to Level 3
  • Motivated to help learners achieve their goals
