Job Description:

The City of Chandler Cultural Development Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Gallery Assistant (part-time, temporary, non-benefited). This position serves at the discretion of the department director. The position is scheduled to work up to 19 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of general clerical experience with a basic understanding of various types of art mediums
  • A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with the local art scene and contemporary art
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Experience working in an office environment
