Job Description

Wake Forest University School of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time faculty partner joining an established Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Research Lab.

Job Responsibility

  • Support Musculoskeletal Research
  • 80% research effort with 20% clinical effort (if a practicing clinician)
  • Treat conditions related to musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting (if a practicing clinician)

Requirements

  • PhD or MD / PHD
  • Focus in musculoskeletal research to include bone, muscle, cartilage, tendon, and infection
  • If a practicing clinician: eligible for NC Medical License
  • If a practicing clinician: board certified or board eligible in respective specialty (Orthopaedic Surgery, Podiatric Surgery, Family Practice, PM&R, Pediatrics)
