Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is Seeking a PhD or MD / PHD to support Musculoskeletal Research. Wake Forest University School of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time faculty partner joining an established Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Research Lab. We are interested in researchers with a focus in musculoskeletal research to include bone, muscle, cartilage, tendon, and infection.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support musculoskeletal research
  • If a practicing clinician: 80% research effort with 20% clinical effort
  • Treat conditions related to musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting

Requirements:

  • PhD or MD/PHD
  • Focus in musculoskeletal research (bone, muscle, cartilage, tendon, infection)
  • If a practicing clinician: eligible for NC Medical License
  • Board certified or board eligible in respective specialty (Orthopaedic Surgery, Podiatric Surgery, Family Practice, PM&R, Pediatrics)
