Job Description:

The Murex Trading Consultant role involves supporting the delivery of trading solutions through project implementations, system upgrades, and production support. The consultant will play a key role in ensuring the successful deployment, enhancement, and stabilization of Murex trading platforms, contributing to both project execution and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contribute to Murex trading module implementations and upgrades
  • Support business requirement analysis and solution design
  • Configure and enhance trading functionalities within Murex
  • Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Support the delivery of trading solutions within new Murex implementations, platform upgrade programs, and production support activities

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of Murex experience
  • Advanced knowledge in Pre-Trade and Distribution
  • Intermediate knowledge of FX / FXD, Money Markets, Fixed Income, Securities Finance
  • Solid experience with Murex MX.3
  • Exposure to MXpress
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Good understanding of XML
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in English and French

Nice to have:

Basic scripting exposure (Perl, awk)
