Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Murex Lead with 12–15 years of expertise in Murex implementation, support, and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will have strong functional and technical knowledge of Murex and the ability to lead teams while driving high-quality delivery.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end Murex implementation, upgrade, or support projects
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
  • Provide functional and technical expertise across Murex modules
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and production support
  • Ensure system stability, performance optimization, and issue resolution
  • Mentor and guide junior team members
  • Drive best practices in system configuration, testing, and deployment

Requirements

  • 12–15 years of experience working with Murex
  • Strong knowledge of Murex architecture, configuration, and workflows
  • Hands-on experience in at least one or more Murex modules (Front Office, Risk, Back Office, etc.)
  • Good understanding of capital markets and financial products
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

  • Experience or knowledge in MXTEST automation
  • Exposure Murex upgrades and migration projects

  • Ensure all testing activities strictly comply with banking regulatory mandates, internal risk controls, and institutional security requirements
  • Oversee the end-to-end defect management lifecycle, running cross-functional triage forums to prioritize, track, and resolve system blocks across multiple workstreams
  • Partner closely with front/middle/back-office business stakeholders, integration developers, and Murex vendor teams to validate functional specifications and iron out environment discrepancies
