Job Description:

You are a technically strong Murex Back Office Configurator with hands-on experience supporting changes, enhancements, and daily operations within the Back Office domain. You bring a blend of Murex expertise and software engineering skills, enabling you to work across configuration, development, testing, and analysis while ensuring smooth trade processing, settlement, and reporting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Configure and maintain Murex Back Office functionalities, supporting trade processing, settlement, and reporting
  • Develop scripts, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to integrations with external systems
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications
  • Support regulatory changes and ensure system configurations align with financial standards
  • Prepare and execute testing activities, including system, integration, and user acceptance testing

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Murex architecture, Back Office modules, MxML workflows, data mapping and scripting
  • Experience with Java, Python, SQL, Unix environments, and integration/API development
  • Understanding of asset classes such as Fixed Income, FX, Money Markets, Rates, Securities, and Commodities
  • Experience with Back Office processing, settlement instructions, reconciliation, and end-of-day activities
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, performance optimisation, automation, and system integration
