Job Description:

Municipal Placements Analyst role in Wells Fargo's Municipal Products Group providing investment banking, municipal derivatives, investor solutions, institutional sales, secondary trading and underwriting services to issuer and investor clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze companies and develop strategies for clients
  • Pull market and industry research
  • Complete trading simulation within Investment Banking Program
  • Build detailed financial models
  • Analyze market data
  • Prepare client presentations
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers
  • Interact with internal and external customers
  • Develop and maintain municipal financial information
  • Work with senior bankers to prepare client presentations
  • Develop financing solutions for clients
  • Perform client and industry research
  • Participate in strategic planning and advisory services
  • Conduct financial and credit analysis
  • Participate in client meetings and due diligence visits
  • Propose potential financing opportunities

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam completion within 90 days of hire
  • FINRA Series 52 completion within 90 days of hire
  • FINRA Series 63 completion within 90 days of hire
  • FINRA Series 79 completion within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring future visa sponsorship
