My client, an industry leading manufacturing company, is searching for a qualified maintenance engineer at the front end of their career to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. They are a positive and well organised team and want someone who is looking to develop their skill set, get stuck in and manage their own time and own responsibilities. If you are electrically qualified and looking for a challenge where you can not only progress within a growing company, but also mentor and pass on your skill set, this is a really exciting position for you!

Job Responsibility:

  • Planned and preventative maintenance
  • Projects and setting up equipment
  • All follow up work including record keeping and ensuring health and safety requirements
  • Fault-finding, repairs and replacements to ensure the production line runs efficiently
  • Overseeing daily checks and the planned maintenance Schedule

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a maintenance engineer on an automated manufacturing plant
  • Time-served Mechanical/Electrical apprenticeship or recognised Level 3 qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (must be a NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC or ONC)
  • Familiar with repairing and maintaining hydraulic/conveyor systems is essential
  • Genuine interest to progress and grow with the company long-term
  • Prove ability to manage your own PPM schedule and oversee site breakdowns
