We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented engineer with a strong electrical bias and robust mechanical skills. You will balance rapid breakdown response with structured planned maintenance, collaborating regularly with production teams to manage downtime and expectations across the site.
Job Responsibility
Asset Care & PPM: Execute systematic planned, preventative, and routine maintenance across a variety of site machinery to ensure optimum facility running
Breakdown & Diagnostics: Rapidly respond to faults using advanced PLC fault-finding and mechanical diagnostic techniques to minimize downtime
Continuous Improvement: Actively look for ways to reduce the cost impact of machine downtime and support the installation and commissioning of new equipment
Stock & Compliance: Manage critical spare parts inventory, order repair components, and ensure all tasks strictly adhere to health and safety regulations
Requirements
Proven track record as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment. PLC fault-finding and diagnostics experience is essential
Must have served an Electrical Apprenticeship (City & Guilds) or hold an HNC, ONC, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent
Strong attention to detail, proactive approach to continuous improvement, excellent multitasking skills, and a minimum of B2 level in English
Prior experience utilizing Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
