Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM), testing, and reactive/breakdown repairs across the hospital estate, including clinical areas such as ITU, A&E, and Operating Theatres
  • Ensure all engineering services align with contractual obligations, industry best practice, and Health Technical Memoranda (HTM) standards
  • Manage individually assigned tasks via CAFM systems and digital management tools to meet strict site Performance KPIs and SLAs

Requirements:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and City & Guilds 2360/2330/2357 Level 3 or equivalent
  • City & Guilds 2394 or 2395 Certification
  • Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications without supervision and work effectively in distressing clinical environments

Nice to have:

  • HNC/HND in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience or AP/CP appointments in Medical Gas (MGPS), Ventilation (HTM-03), or HV/LV systems
