Job Description:

Strategic financial business leader position at JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa, responsible for implementing property-wide strategies, financial expertise, and business planning aligned with brand objectives. The role involves financial analysis, budget planning, profit improvement, team leadership, and stakeholder management in a luxury hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Function as the property's strategic financial business leader
  • Develop and implement property-wide strategies
  • Provide financial expertise for brand service strategy implementation
  • Create and execute business plans aligned with property strategy
  • Analyze financial data and market trends
  • Develop annual budget plans and monitor sales against expenses
  • Improve profit through cost-benefit analysis and new business opportunities
  • Ensure strong accounting and operational control environment
  • Lead accounting teams and provide clear accountability
  • Manage tax compliance and regulatory audit processes
  • Anticipate and address needs of key stakeholders (owners, corporate, guests)
  • Conduct human resource activities including team development and training

Requirements:

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major
  • 2 years experience in the finance and accounting or related professional area
  • OR Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major

  • Experience in financial data analysis and market trends
  • Experience in budget planning and forecasting
  • Ability to develop business plans and improve profit
  • Strong accounting and operational control knowledge
